Warehouse Forklift Operator – Cherry Picker
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full‑Time Forklift Operator and Material Handler in Port Deposit, Maryland. Pay & Schedule
Hourly Pay: Up to $22.50 per hour! Base Pay: $21.50 per hour Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour when working third shift Schedules: Wednesday 12:00 am – 6:00 am; Thursday–Saturday 6:00 pm – 6:00 am Benefits

High school diploma or equivalent preferred One year or more warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred Valid Forklift Operator’s License Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Team player in a diverse environment Professional relationship building at all organizational levels Highly thorough and dependable Punctual with good attendance record Minimal supervision required High initiative and accuracy under pressure Lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs Stand for long periods Use health and safety methods Available for flexible scheduling and various shifts Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting Adhere to performance measurement guidelines Accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, loading and unloading of trucks Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.) Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hours Perform other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Statement
