Boutique Recruiting A well-established Sacramento-area family law firm is hiring a Family Law Paralegal to support two attorneys in a busy, paperless family law practice. This role manages cases from intake through resolution, prepares and files critical pleadings and discovery, and serves as a trusted point of contact for clients navigating emotionally complex matters. The firm is looking for a confident, organized paralegal who can pivot quickly, communicate clearly, and take pride in doing meaningful work in a close-knit, supportive environment. Salary Range:
$60,000 - $75,000 / Year DOE Family Law Paralegal Responsibilities
Support two attorneys across a full family law caseload, including divorce and restraining orders Prepare financial disclosures, discovery responses, proofs of service, and court filings Draft pleadings, settlement packages, and case support documents Review and organize client materials and case documentation Analyze case details to assist with settlement preparation Manage document organization in a fully paperless environment Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel as needed Track time and support billing requirements Handle multiple priorities while shifting quickly between matters Family Law Paralegal Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Family Law Paralegal Paralegal certificate required Experience preparing and responding to discovery Strong writing, organization, and communication skills Comfort working directly with clients in sensitive situations Ability to pivot quickly between cases and deadlines Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, and legal document formatting Experience with Westlaw and timekeeping systems preferred Confident, personable, and collaborative working style Benefits
