Our Top Maintenance Technicians earn over $80,000 annually. Total Compensation is Hourly plus Spiffs/Commissions. Depending on Center this could be more.

Position Summary Under general supervision, performs precision tune‑ups and maintenance on HVAC equipment and accessories. Communicates with customers to answer questions, resolves problems, and ensures complete customer satisfaction. Promotes products and services to customers. Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor or General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance calls under general supervision.
Perform routine precision tune‑ups and maintenance on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories in an accurate and timely manner.
Inspect and perform limited diagnostics on equipment to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks.
Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
Deliver and remove parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
Assist the Service Technician in servicing equipment and accessories.
Record information on hand‑held device; complete all forms and paperwork in a neat, timely, complete, and accurate manner; collect payment from customers when necessary.
Communicate with dispatch to provide accurate status reports.
Deliver excellent customer service and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Promote products and services to the customer; contact Sales and Service Coordinator for replacement product sales leads generated from visits.
Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are used,, and properly accounted for.
Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically.
Follow standard procedures and process; ensure the vehicle is properly stocked.
Perform similar or other duties as needed or assigned.
Health & Safety Roles and Responsibilities
Report unsafe acts, conditions and hazards to direct supervisor/manager immediately.
Report any contravention of legislation or policy to direct supervisor/manager immediately.
Correct substandard acts or conditions within area of control.
Use and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed by company program.
Never remove or render ineffective safety guards, devices, or clothing prescribed to be in place or worn.
Comply with general safety rules as prescribed by company program.
Operate devices or equipment as prescribed by company program.
Participate in safety initiatives, teams, or committees.
Report injuries or incidents as prescribed by company program immediately.
Provide input on developing safety initiatives and plans to eliminate exposures that could cause accidents.
Do not perform acts that endanger the safety or well‑being of others.
Do not engage in pranks, contests, or rough boisterous behavior.
Work in compliance with applicable legislative requirements.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0 to 2 years’ experience in HVAC; technical training certification preferred.
All valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local laws.
EPA and safety certifications required.
Basic knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and related accessories.
Proficient mechanical aptitude and ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment.
Basic skills reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems on air conditioning equipment.
Excellent communication skills to resolve customer issues.
Effective time‑management and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Available to work flexible hours and on‑call shifts as needed.
Experience performing basic maintenance work on HVAC equipment and related accessories desirable.
Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces; ability to climb 300lb load‑rated ladder with a 30lb tool belt.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and carry items up to 30 lbs.
