Base pay range $27.00/hr - $37.00/hr

Position Summary

Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels; budgeting and forecasting sales; assessing economic trends and community needs.

Model and enforce customer/member service approaches and techniques; resolve complaints and issues within company guidelines.

Oversee implementation of community outreach programs and encourage Associates to be community members.

Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, analyze reports, implement asset protection and safety controls; supervise operational and quality assurance reviews.

Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognition.

Ensure quality eyewear by consulting with members, selecting products based on needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment.

Uphold the company’s Open Door Policy: meet with Associates, listen to concerns, research issues, review policies, and suggest resolutions.

Maintain accountability, measure progress, identify improvement opportunities, and promote continuous learning.

Act with integrity, promote ethics, and support a regenerative company culture.

Qualifications

Minimum: Completion of 2 or more years of college, OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience, OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.

Preferred: Supervising Associates experience.
