CDL A Driver Hazmat (Open)
Pay Rate
– $34.19 per hour plus overtime. Quarterly incentive bonus. $2000 driver referral bonus (unlimited).
Location
– Fresno, CA (AMG) Bulk cryo logistics. Work schedule: Nights, Weekends, Holidays; 5 days on and 2 days off. Travel: Home daily, occasional lay‑over.
Job Description Summary
– Drive a commercial motor vehicle (tractor‑trailer) combination, usually long distances, to transport аптоном and liquefied industrial gases to customers or storage sites in a safe, timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to identify any maintenance action that may be required and act appropriately if action is needed. Report all accidents, injuries, safety issues, driving citations, and customer complaints to supervisor. Complete and submit reports as required by the DOT and Airgas company policy.
Drive tractor‑trailer to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites.
Perform pre‑ and post‑trip' inspections and address maintenance needs.
Report accidents, safety issues, citations, and customer complaints immediately.
Complete required DOT and company reports.
Required Qualifications
Must be at least 21(with clearly).
Three or more years experience as a driver of tractor‑trailer vehicles. Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; two years of technical college or military technical experience. acd: At least one year of tanker or HazMat experience.
Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed, and specialty gases.
