JOB SUMMARY This Warehouse Supervisor position will oversee the day‑to‑day distribution center operations, supervising hourly associate(s) to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage and shipment of products. This role supports operational goals while maintaining safety, quality and compliance standards. This is a hands‑on, working supervisor role that actively participates in daily warehouse operations while providing leadership and oversight to hourly associates.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise hourly distribution associate(s)

Coordinate daily outbound and inbound distribution activities

Ensure accurate order fulfillment, staging, and shipment of customer orders

Monitor workflow efficiency and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize delays or errors

Enforce safety standards, policies, and OSHA requirements

Train, coach, and support warehouse associates on processes and equipment

Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counts and audits

Ensure housekeeping, organization, and customer/audit readiness of distribution areas at all times

Collaborate with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implement feasible ideas

Perform other related duties as assigned

Keep warehouse customer and audit ready at all times

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a distribution center environment, with demonstrated leadership responsibility

Supervisory experience required, including oversight of hourly associate(s)

Strong working knowledge of inventory control, recordkeeping, and routine warehouse documentation

Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures, regulations, and best practices

Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license required; forklift certification and experience required

Minimum of 5 years of forklift operating experience

Ability to operate warehouse equipment including scissor lifts and floor scrubbers

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work respectfully with others

Proficient computer skills, including warehouse systems and office software

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills

Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing, walking, bending and lifting throughout the shift

Periods sitting while operating a forklift

Must be able to lift, push and/or pull up to 75 pounds

Ability to move around the warehouse
