Essential Functions
Ensure that the health and safety of all employees remains the number one goal.
Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and continuous improvement to resolve production issues.
Provide training and support to production employees to ensure the highest level of productivity and quality.
Implement and utilize a cross‑training plan that supports production needs.
Provide feedback to employees including recognition, coaching, and mentoring for performance.
Drive accountability to the desired metrics in the respective area(s).
Identify root cause of technical issues arising from the production line and work with the team to implement solutions.
Manage time and attendance for the respective area(s) including payroll reporting.
Lead the respective area(s) in evaluating, problem solving, brainstorming, resources, and support.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; attentive listener who can guide others.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Experience coaching and developing employees.
Lean background and 5S experience.
Aluminum welding experience is a plus.
Fabrication experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations required.
Willingness to initiate and lead change.
Results‑driven with strong problem‑solving skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple products, projects, or areas in a fast‑moving environment.
Proficient with MS Office in a Windows‑based environment.
Self‑starter and detail oriented preferred.
Physical Requirements Frequent standing, lifting heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds, walking, pushing or pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs. Occasionally squatting, kneeling, and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins. Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Environmental demands include working both indoors and outdoors and is seasonally exposed to extreme temperatures.
Travel Requirements 0% – 5%
Compensation The anticipated pay range for this position is $57,700 – $85,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job‑related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
