We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy **Project Manager Accountant** to lead the onboarding of new clients, manage the implementation and optimization of accounting software, and support accurate financial reporting. + Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients during the onboarding process
+ Assess client needs and gather relevant financial and operational information
+ Establish and communicate clear onboarding timelines, milestones, and expectations
+ Manage budget, timeline and ongoing operations for your clients
+ Meet client service expectations through adhering to quality and timely client deliverables, and meeting time budget expectations
+ Execute on defined processes and procedures and share ideas or recommendations for improvements
+ Promptly communicate roadblocks and inefficiencies as they arise
+ Maintain and expand knowledge base of accounting principles and practices* **Software Implementation & Optimization:**
+ Lead or assist in the setup and customization of accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite)
+ Integrate third-party apps and automation tools (e.g., bill pay, expense management, payroll)
+ Analyze and improve clients’ existing software setups for efficiency and accuracy
+ Provide training and ongoing support to clients and internal teams* **Accounting Processes & Cleanup:**
+ Evaluate and streamline accounting workflows to reduce redundancies and improve accuracy
+ Document processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for client engagements
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices in accounting operations
+ Provide initial accounting related services and cleanup services to our clients as needed before transition to recurring team for ongoing services including reconciling balance sheet accounts, creating reconciliation schedules, and producing financial statements for next level review* **Financial Review & Reporting:**
+ Review client financial records for accuracy and completeness
+ Reconcile accounts, clean up prior period discrepancies
+ Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP or other relevant standards
+ Ensure timely delivery of accurate financial reports**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field* CPA or equivalent designation (preferred but not required)* 6+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations* 4+ years of experience in project management or client implementation* Experience with cloud-based accounting software (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, etc.)* Familiarity with third party accounting technologies and integration to the ERP (e.g., ADP, Bill.com,
