Location: San Antonio, TX. This position is in-office 5 days per week.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across multiple entities and help support the continued growth of our business.

Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting transactions — posting journal entries, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts with accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.

Complete bank reconciliations and ensure balances tie out across entities.

Prepare and post monthly journal entries and assist with month‑end close.

Support general ledger maintenance, perform account analysis, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Assist with financial reporting, and 1099 preparation.

Partner with internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.

Assist in the onboarding of new portfolio properties such as bank accounts, utility providers, set up tenant ACH payments, new vendor payments and compliance, and owner distributions.

Experience Requirements

Associate’s degree in accounting or finance required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in a high‑volume, multi‑entity environment.

Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.

Proficiency with Yardi and AppFolio, or similar accounting software.

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas).

Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and time management.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Integrity, confidentiality, and accountability in every task.
