Shifts Available: Night Job Summary: Improve manufacturing processes that result in equipment modifications and upgrades of various electrical control/computer systems throughout the plant.
Required Education/Experience:
Three years of Supervisory experience.
Five years of Maintenance Experience in a Manufacturing area.
Technical degree or graduate from a Vocational Program.
A working knowledge base of all Production Departments equipment and processes. (preferred)
Job Responsibilities:
Implement, sponsor, and support all continuous reliability improvement standards and practices.
Responsible for measuring and managing employee performance including completing proper supporting departmental documentation in a professional manner.
Responsible to manage the daily, weekly, and monthly Preventive Maintenance System.
Manage all phases of equipment planned outages from plan inception through equipment returned to service.
Assists in identifying needs and participates in training activities to enable employee flexibility across tasks where possible.
Assign, direct, and provide efficient resources in both planned and unplanned equipment care environments.
Responsible for evaluating and providing technical assistance concerning maintenance issues and equipment reliability requirements.
Function as liaison between Maintenance, Fabrication, Cast, Paint, and Pack/Ship Departments.
Responsible to secure and manage contracted resources.
Understanding of numerous chemicals and how to work with them safely is a mandatory.
Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and knowledge to work in them
