The
Cashier Bartender
is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by preparing and serving beverages, handling cash and electronic payments, and maintaining a clean and organized bar environment. This role requires multitasking between bartending and cashiering functions, ensuring smooth bar operations and customer satisfaction.
Bartending Duties:
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all bar menu items and ingredients.
Check customers’ identification to ensure legal drinking age.
Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area and equipment.
Adhere to all food and beverage safety regulations.
Cashier Duties:
Greet customers and process drink/food orders efficiently.
Accurately handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments using POS systems.
Issue receipts, refunds, and change as needed.
Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
Assist in tracking sales and inventory as required.
Customer Service:
Provide friendly, attentive service to guests at all times.
Resolve customer complaints or elevate to a supervisor when necessary.
Promote current specials or featured menu items.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a kitchen or food prep role is an advantage but not required.
Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
