Occupational Therapist – Per Diem We are currently looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. The position will provide evaluation and treatment to patients in their homes or other community settings within Bergen County, NJ.

Responsibilities

Supports the organization’s mission by striving for excellence and fostering positive interpersonal relationships with co‑workers.

Assesses and evaluates clients for occupational therapy needs and develops and implements appropriate plans in collaboration with the physician.

Documents changes in client’s condition and updates care plans and outcomes accordingly.

Identifies counseling needs and frames suitable teaching strategies.

Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided.

Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies.

Adheres to the organization’s policy regarding absenteeism and appearance.

Completion of specific duties may be excluded if assignments are similar, related, or logically aligned with the position.

Occupational Therapy licensure in NJ with AOTA certification required.

2–3 years of prior clinical and community‑based experience preferred.

Strong computer skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid NJ driver's license.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands Working indoors/outdoors, driving, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, fine‑motor hand movement, use of phone and tablet for documentation.

Compensation In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $80,000.00 to USD $135,000.00, reflecting base salary, overtime, bonuses, incentives, retirement plans, and other benefits.
