This field‑based role requires a licensed Kansas master‑level clinician who will meet members in facilities and/or homes. Eligible clinicians living in the listed cities are encouraged to apply:
Dodge City, Garden City, Liberal, Hays, Scott City, Norton, Phillipsburg, Smith Center, St. Francis, Goodland, Ulysses, Lakin, Ness City, Hutchinson, Pratt, Hugoton, Great Bend, Marysville, Junction City, Manhattan.
The position is primarily in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as required, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. The role requires flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands‑on engagement. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the stated posting locations will not be considered unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
Primary Responsibilities
Uses screening criteria and clinical judgement to assess member needs.
Conducts assessments to identify individual needs and develops care plans to address identified objectives and goals.
Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans and modifies them as needed.
Supports member access to appropriate, quality, and cost‑effective care.
Coordinates with internal and external resources to meet identified member needs and collaborates with providers.
Position Requirements
Requires an MA/MS in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field (or nursing degree) and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience in social work counseling with a broad range of experience with complex psychiatric and substance‑abuse treatment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current, active, unrestricted license such as RN, LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or Clinical Psychologist to practice within the scope of licensure in Kansas.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences
Experience in case management and telephonic and/or in‑person coaching with members having complex psychiatric/substance‑abuse and/or medical disorders.
