Candidates should have experience in nursing, preferably in ambulatory, medical surgery, or ER settings, and be proficient with generic computer applications.
Requirements
AAS/BS in Nursing, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Minimum of one year nursing experience in an Ambulatory/Medical Surgery/ER setting preferred
Minimum of two years nursing experience
Experience with telephone triage and diagnosis procedures
Current New York State Registered Professional Nursing license
Current BCLS certification
Current Infection Control and Child Abuse Certificates
Qualifications
Experience in assessing patients
Knowledge of medications
Proficient in using computer applications
Ability to multi-task successfully
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Telephone communication skills with empathy and respect
Ability to make critical independent decisions and prioritize appropriately.
