About the role: CLA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workday HCM Analyst to join our dynamic People Solutions (HR) team. This position will focus primarily on the compensation and employee engagement features in Workday, in addition to supporting our employment practices. Areas of responsibility include core HCM, core compensation, advanced compensation, surveys and questionnaires. In addition, this role will drive enhancement and automation through the deployment of AI platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Workday's compensation modules, employee engagement processes and a proven track record of implementing and optimizing features to enhance organizational effectiveness.
As a Senior Workday HCM Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Workday Compensation Module Management: Responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Workday's Compensation module, including core compensation, merit and promotion processes, one-time payments and variable pay.
Employee Engagement Process Management: Responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Workday and additional platforms to support employee engagement, including new hire surveys, exit surveys, annual engagement surveys and pulse surveys.
Employment Practices Support: Continuous evaluation and optimization of Workday to support CLA's employment practices and compliance teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with People Solutions (HR), IT, and business leaders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate and analyze reports, related to compensation, engagement and employment practices, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making.
Project Management: Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and objectives.
User Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for end‑users to maximize the utilization of HCM features.
Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure that all processes align with industry best practices and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Additional Workday HCM Support: As needed, provide support in other functional areas, such as Absence, Benefits, Help, Talent Acquisition or Talent Management.
What you will need:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (combination of education, training, and experience may be considered a degree equivalent)
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in HCM, preferably with a strong focus on Workday compensation and/or employee engagement modules, including implementation experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Workday HCM. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects from inception to completion.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
Detail‑Oriented: Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
