Experienced Accountant We are a San Antonio–based manufacturer of musical instruments seeking an experienced, detail-oriented
Accountant
to manage day-to-day general ledger accounting functions. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting a collaborative, high-performing finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all general ledger accounting activities in
QuickBooks Online
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting schedules in
Microsoft Excel
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Support financial reporting, budgeting, and audit requests
Collaborate with operations and management to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial data
Identify process improvements and leverage technology to increase efficiency
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on general ledger accounting experience
Strong proficiency in
QuickBooks Online
and
Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
Highly tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong work ethic with the ability to manage deadlines independently
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience in manufacturing or inventory-based businesses
Familiarity with cost accounting
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
