Armstrong Teasdale LLP is seeking an experienced
Real Estate Associate
to join its Corporate Services Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, joint ventures, development, and construction of real property. Associates have an exciting opportunity to learn from and work closely with energetic, highly experienced practitioners in a friendly, cooperative environment. Essential Functions
Work will involve real estate transactions, including acquisition, sale, leasing, financing, development and construction of real property; development and financing incentives, redevelopment and special‑purpose districts, and loan transactions. Simultaneously handle high‑level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages, from inception to conclusion. Show strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients. Demonstrate ability to work independently and productively with a strong interest in advancing a career in transactional practice. Decision Making – make decisions quickly, possibly with limited information. Communication – provide clear, concise, professional written and oral communication to both internal and external clients. Leadership – give positive and constructive feedback to others; solution‑oriented. Continuous Learning – actively embrace learning new skills, mastering new technology, and sharing with others. Teamwork – work as a diligent member of client teams and begin to lead teams in matters. Alignment to Values – influence awareness and adoption of the firm’s values, diversity and inclusion; demonstrate respect by understanding and providing solutions and support. Required Education
Juris Doctor Preferred Experience
4+ years of experience in real estate, including experience in real estate leasing, development, acquisition, purchase and sale transactions. Strong drafting skills and experience managing a variety of transactions. Licensing Requirements
Licensed to practice law in good standing in Missouri, or in a jurisdiction where the firm conducts business until admitted to practice in Missouri; must maintain applicable license renewal and CLE requirements. Other Duties / Physical Requirements
Employee required to sit (or use a standing desk) for prolonged periods and work on a computer. Travel required: less than 10%. EEO Statement
