Staff Accountant
to join a growing healthcare organization in Newark, DE. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong accounting background, advanced Excel skills, and QuickBooks experience who thrives in a hands‑on environment.
Base Pay Range $60,000.00/yr - $63,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Manage general accounting functions for multiple related entities, including cash management, accounts payable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and budgeting.
Research and reconcile general ledger discrepancies.
Allocate, analyze, and report revenue streams to ensure accurate recognition and distribution.
Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
Handle monthly entity invoicing and intercompany account reconciliations.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual gross receipts tax.
Assist management with ad hoc financial and profitability analysis.
Stay up-to-date with accounting rules and regulations and provide recommendations regarding company policy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Advanced Excel skills.
