Base pay range $85.00/hr - $85.00/hr
Company Overview A leading global alternative investment manager focuses on private equity, credit, and real estate, leveraging an integrated platform to create value for investors. They are seeking a Senior IT Data Business Analyst / Project Manager to join their Data Engineering team.
Job Responsibilities
Manage project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple workstreams
Facilitate requirements‑gathering sessions with business and technical teams
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, RAID logs, and executive status reports
Conduct gap analyses, root‑cause investigations, and impact assessments
Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, QA, and Change Management teams throughout the delivery cycle
Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure readiness for production deployment
Lead change management and training efforts to drive system adoption
Track project performance metrics and ensure alignment with scope, budget, and timeline
Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring transparent communication
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related field
7–10 years of experience in Project Management and Business Analysis within financial services
Prior involvement in enterprise data programs and strong familiarity with data engineering concepts
Proven track record managing large‑scale, multi‑stakeholder projects across the full SDLC (Agile and Waterfall)
Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, or Lucidchart
Experience working with finance‑related datasets: Bank Accounts, Brokers, Funds, Portfolios, Products, Securities, Legal Entities
Familiarity with SQL or other data query languages
Exposure to business intelligence and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, React, Next.js)
Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or CSM are a plus
Compensation Pay Rate:
$100/hr
