The Restaurant General Manager will lead the team, drive profitability, and ensure an unparalleled dining experience.
Provided Pay Range $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Guest Experience: Oversee all daily functions, ensuring impeccable service, food quality, and a positive, engaging environment. Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with grace and hospitality.
Financial Management: Manage P&L, control costs (labor, food, beverage), optimize sales, and drive revenue growth.
Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and develop a high‑performing team of servers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Foster a positive, motivating work environment.
Inventory & Procurement: Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to maintain quality and control costs.
Marketing & Community: Implement strategies to attract new customers and build loyalty within the Grand Rapids community.
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in upscale casual or fine dining environments.
Strong financial acumen and P&L management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
Passion for food, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
