The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the financial operations within the organization, with a particular focus on revenue cycle management. This role involves managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate billing, and coordinating with various departments to facilitate efficient financial processes. The Business Office Manager works closely with regional leadership to support the organization’s financial health and compliance with relevant regulations.

This position will be working in the local regional office daily.

It is a full-time, salary-based 8-hour position Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM).

What Are We Looking For? Your Health is currently looking for a Business Office Manager to join our growing Primary Care family. A successful Business Office Manager will be able to perform these essential duties and responsibilities. Areas of Responsibility

Monitor and validate patient insurance for assigned regions utilizing the specific software and reports.

Answer patient and employee questions related to, but not limited to, copayments, insurance, billing, collections, coverage, etc.

Assist with cash and insurance collections.

Provide assistance to statewide Accounts Receivable team.

Responsible for ongoing insurance validation.

Provide critical financial information for new patients and clients.

Update patient financial information including current primary and secondary insurances.

Monitor and report on key revenue cycle metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Perform audits on Care Management patients.

Assist patients with billing inquiries, payment plans, and financial assistance options.

Provide support to staff in navigating billing software and resolving patient financial concerns.

Foster a culture of exceptional customer service and patient-centered care within the office.

Serve as a liaison between the office staff and regional leadership, ensuring clear communication and coordination.

Assist with any service suspensions or discharges.

Work with your team to resolve patient insurance issues and determine the appropriate action for upcoming appointments.

Participate in coaching calls.

Perform other duties as requested or required, at the sole discretion of the Company.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration, human resources, or a related field preferred.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

Ability to manage and demonstrate effective leadership skills.

Should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills under all conditions and circumstances.

Ability to foster a cooperative work environment and work collaboratively with other department heads, leadership, and key stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment.

Ability to read and communicate effectively.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Basic computer knowledge.

Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.

Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working condition.
