Job Summary Airframe and Powerplant Licensed Mechanics are responsible for Insuring inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with the appropriate aircraft maintenance manual, company policies and procedures, and the Repair Station manual. Candidates must have their Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P License).
Functions/Responsibility
Preflight and post flight checks
Discrepancy repair
Safely work in a shop environment using tools and equipment as necessary
Complete assigned tasks outdoors and in inclement weather if required
Ensure that work performed gets inspected by the appropriate inspection personnel.
Complete required documentation for work performed
Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair aircraft and/or engines as assigned
Complete required training as assigned
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Use basic computer skills to complete and document tasks
Work productively individually or with an assigned crew
Works with integrity and desire to maintain a high-quality standard
Report failures or deficiencies immediately
Pass background check and random drug testing
Overtime and/or weekend work may be required

Requirements Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Airframe or Powerplant License (Both preferred)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office computer systems
Experience & Professional Skills
Two years of experience working on B-737 aircraft preferred
Diversified experience in maintenance on large, fixed wing aircraft
Work Environment & Culture Skills
Candidate must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check
Candidate must be able to understand, read and write English
Candidate should be motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized, and able to manage and be managed
Candidate must be reliable, punctual, and flexible
Candidate must be able to multi-task, respect and maintain confidentiality
Candidate must be ethical, trustworthy with sensitive information

Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
Moderate to heavy lifting is required (up to 70lbs)
Must be able to climb and use a ladder, work stands, platforms and lift equipment
Work within a confined workspace(s)
Location Requirements
Operation based in Erlanger, KY (CVG Airport)
There is no ability to work from home
Shift Requirements
Must be available full-time and work overtime when required
Travel from base may be periodically requested
Other Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
