This position is responsible for the organized, efficient operation of the Front Office and Front Services at The Hotel Hershey.

Job Duties

Interview, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate front desk attendants, PBX operators, night auditors, bell persons, doorpersons, and chauffeurs. *

Supervise and support staff members with verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, guest arrival and check‑out processes, organizing transportation needs, answering phones, running reports, performing accounting functions, and other front office needs. *

Communicate with guests to address billing questions or other inquiries and concerns. Follow up on these opportunities to ensure resolutions effectively meet guest needs, deliver on service excellence, and create memorable guest experiences. *

Manage reservations by blocking rooms and adding or changing reservation details to maximize occupancy and revenue. *

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of related experience.

18 years of age or older.

2 years Front Office experience.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Completion of high school or GED.

Post‑employment – RAMP certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven employee/guest relations, problem solving, and organization skills.

Ability to work in a busy, fast‑paced environment.

Professional image representative of property image.

May work in an outdoor environment during all types of weather conditions. Must be available to work flexible shifts based on the needs of the operation and guest.
