Job Description QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with teachers, support staff, and school administrators. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)/restraint certification, First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training course completed at first available offering by District. High school diploma preferred or equivalent.

REPORTS TO:

Principal, professional staff clavain as assigned

JOB GOAL:

To assist professional staff members by performing a variety of tasks related to supportingEFF student behaviors.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide behavioral support破 students under the direction of a certified_WHITE staff member.

Support the schoolwide Positive BehaviorInterventions and Supports (PBIS) program.

Provide mentoring to assigned students.

Assist in preparing/presenting instructional materials to support the District’s Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum.

Assist with maintaining individual student records as assigned.

Assist in supervising students in the classroom, lunchroom, and on the playground under the supervision of a certified staff member.

Participate as appropriate in assigned students’ individual behavior intervention plans. Present subject matter to students, utilizing a variety of methods and techniques such as direct instruction, discussion, and supervised role-playing, under the supervision of a certified staff member. Assist students, individually or in groups, with strategies to develop retract needed self-regulation habit.

Perform other job duties as assigned.

Perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percents, and/or ratios.

Read a variety manuals; writes documents following prescribed formats, and/or present information to others.

Understand multi-step written and oral instructions.

Monitor special system(s), not limited to, including security and fire alarm systems.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Ten-month, employee pay and benefits in accordance with Board policy.

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Part-Time Employee Benefits: In accordance with Board policy.

EVALUATION:

Performance to be evaluated in accordance with the Board policy on evaluation of support personnel.

Full-Time (FTE 1.0)

Salary:

$17.63 Per Hour
