Position Summary The Manager at Swett’s is the cultural and operational leader of the restaurant, responsible for delivering authentic Southern hospitality, operational excellence, and financial performance in a fast‑paced airport environment. This role ensures brand integrity, guest satisfaction, team development, and full compliance with airport and company standards.
Leadership & Culture
Lead by example with a servant‑hearted, hospitality‑first mindset.
Build, coach, and retain a high‑performing team aligned with Swett’s legacy and SLA standards.
Foster a positive, accountable, and inclusive workplace culture.
Conduct daily pre‑shift huddles focused on service, execution, and team connection.
Guest Experience
Deliver warm, genuine hospitality to every traveler.
Resolve guest concerns with empathy and urgency.
Maintain high guest satisfaction scores and mystery shop performance.
Ensure speed of service and consistency during peak travel periods.
Operations & Execution
Oversee daily restaurant operations including opening/closing, staffing, and service flow.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
Maintain brand standards for food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
Execute airport‑specific operational requirements (badging, security, compliance).
Financial Performance
Manage labor schedules to align with flight volume and sales forecasts.
Control food and labor costs while maintaining service excellence.
Review daily, weekly, and period financial reports.
Drive sales through execution, upselling, and team engagement.
Training & Development
Train and certify team members using Airport Hospitality Academy (AHA) and SLA‑1 standards.
Conduct ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and skill development.
Ensure all employees are properly onboarded, badged, and compliant.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with airport authority rules, TSA guidelines, and company policies.
Maintain accurate documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
Lead with safety, accountability, and operational discipline.
Qualifications
3+ years of restaurant management experience (airport or high‑volume preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.
Proven ability to manage labor, food cost, and profitability.
Experience with POS systems and operational reporting.
Ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to pass airport background check and obtain security badge.
