The Food & Beverage Manager is a key member of the Food & Beverage leadership team, responsible for overseeing the seasonal operations of Old Buck’s Poolside Bar & Grille and supporting additional outlets during the off‑season. This leader ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while driving strong financial performance through effective cost controls, team development, and operational excellence. The role includes active participation in budgeting, forecasting, and implementing strategies that enhance both guest satisfaction and profitability.
Responsibilities
Lead daily operations for both front‑ and back‑of‑house teams, ensuring smooth, efficient, and guest‑focused service.
Oversee short‑ and long‑term planning for the outlet, including concept development and operational objectives.
Maintain Hyatt brand standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation across all beverage operations.
Conduct daily walk‑throughs to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and corporate standards.
Coordinate with other hotel departments to support seamless guest service and operational efficiency.
Monitor and control food, beverage, and labor costs to achieve targeted profitability.
Evaluate cost‑effectiveness of operational practices and implement strategies to enhance revenue and reduce expenses.
Oversee payroll, inventory, and reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial management.
Recruit, hire, and onboard team members to build a strong, service‑driven staff.
Train, coach, and mentor employees to support professional growth and uphold Hyatt service standards.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to maintain a high‑performing team.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and engagement.
Maintain a strong presence on the floor to support service delivery and engage with guests.
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Implement initiatives that enhance both guest and colleague satisfaction.
Plan and execute special events and holiday functions that elevate the guest experience and drive revenue.

Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hotel food & beverage leadership experience; Hyatt experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service‑oriented leadership style.
Proven ability to lead high‑volume operations with a track record of improving financial performance.
High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and motivational leadership qualities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and strong administrative capabilities.
Experience developing or implementing new F&B concepts.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
