Licensed Funeral Director

*Job Summary* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the funeral industry and provide exceptional support to families during their time of need. This role involves overseeing all aspects of funeral services, from planning and directing ceremonies to ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. The Funeral Director will also provide bereavement support and guidance to families, helping them navigate the complexities of loss. *Responsibilities* * Coordinate and conduct funeral services, including viewings, memorials, and burials. * Provide bereavement support to families, offering guidance and compassion during difficult times. * Manage all aspects of funeral planning, including logistics, event planning, and coordination with various service providers. * Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and ethical standards in the funeral industry. * Prepare deceased individuals for viewing by performing necessary sanitation, cosmetology, and dissection tasks as required. * Maintain accurate records of services provided and manage financial transactions related to funeral services. * Collaborate with families to create personalized tributes that honor the deceased's life and legacy. * Assist in heavy lifting and transportation of remains as needed while ensuring dignity and respect throughout the process. * Provide excellent customer service to families, addressing their needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism. * Create and fulfill funeral contracts * Embalming's * Cremations * Adhere to company and state regulations, policies and procedures. * First Calls * Removals *Experience* Candidates should possess a strong background in the funeral industry with relevant experience in funeral directing or related fields. Key qualifications include: * Knowledge of physiology and anatomy as it relates to embalming and body preparation. * Experience in event planning, ensuring that services are conducted smoothly and respectfully. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with grieving families. * Familiarity with sanitation practices within the funeral industry is essential. * Sales experience is a plus for managing service packages effectively while meeting family needs.
