About the Job
We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to oversee store operations and lead the team. You’ll ensure quality, cost control, and excellent customer service. This role requires strong judgment, math, multitasking, and leadership.
Responsibilities
Manage daily store operations, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Follow all policies and procedures 100% and expect the same from crew.
Staff scheduling and paperwork.
Maintain food management, work to a schedule, adhere to standards, and represent a perfect image.
Deliver great customer service while maintaining attendance and punctuality.
Ensure store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
Job Duties for All Store Team Members
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility daily.
Essential Functions / Skills
Perform basic math—add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Make correct monetary change.
Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to process orders.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigate local delivery area, reading maps and locating addresses.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures ranging from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F or higher in some areas.
Exposure to fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces (up to 500 °F), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Physical & Mental Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, carry, push up to 7.5 lb, climb stairs, stoop/bend, squat.
Eye‑hand coordination, reach above 72 in, use of tools, and maintain rapid movements.
Driving deliveries within designated area; valid driver’s license and insured vehicle required.
