Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Associate III for the Neurology Department within New Jersey Medical School. Under direction of a faculty member, performs technical research activities within a laboratory and assists in the conduct of highly specialized and technical research. Responsibilities
As directed, performs various research and clinical technical operations relative to ongoing investigatory activities of the Tsao laboratory; may assist in conducting specialized research for a particular phase of on-going projects related to phantom limb pain and dementia. Participates in the development of performance standards, selection of methodology and instrumentation and coordination of the analytical, biochemical, physiology, and instrumentation functions with the clinical and research areas to ensure conformance with the goals and objectives of the Tsao laboratory. Under supervision, assists in the conducting of a continuous program of research and development regarding the analytical and instrumentation functions of the Tsao laboratory. Participates in the evaluation of the existing procedures, suggesting revisions where necessary and proposing new procedures where required and assists with protocol development and management and grant writing. As required, assists in the implementation of the programs and projects in special areas of interest to the Tsao laboratory. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Salary and Benefits
Salary Details: A maximum of $51,169 is budgeted for this position. Minimum Salary: $51,988.00. Mid‑Range Salary: $61,929.00. Maximum Salary: $72,984.00. FLSA Exempt Grade: 18S Position Status: Full Time Working Hours: Standard Hours 37.50, Daily Work Shift Day. Work Arrangement: This position requires a fully on‑site work arrangement.
