We are a plumbing and irrigation supply house that also specializes in kitchen, bath, appliances, and lighting. We proudly serve local plumbers, builders, and homeowners in bringing beautiful and functional living spaces to life.

The Showroom Sales Associate plays a key role in driving showroom sales and enhancing customer satisfaction by proactively initiating sales opportunities and delivering exceptional customer experience. This role supports both walk‑in and phone customers while also actively marketing the showroom, building relationships, and developing repeat business with contractors, designers, builders, and homeowners.
Using strong product knowledge, consultative selling skills, and attention to detail, the Showroom Sales Associate helps customers select appropriate products, prepares accurate quotes and orders, and manages the sales process from initial engagement through order completion.
Responsibilities and Duties
Customer Service
Welcome and assist walk‑in and telephone customers with professionalism, friendliness, and a consultative sales approach
Proactively engage customers to initiate sales, identify opportunities, and drive showroom business beyond walk‑in traffic
Manage multiple customer inquiries efficiently in a fast‑paced showroom environment
Ask thoughtful questions and listen actively to understand customer needs and project requirements
Recommend appropriate products based on customer preferences, availability, and budget
Provide basic troubleshooting assistance and product guidance as needed
Research and suggest alternative products when necessary to meet customer requirements
Process sales orders accurately using Eclipse ERP
Handle returns and warranty requests in accordance with company policies
Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, delays, or substitutions
Resolve customer concerns promptly while following company guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and customer‑ready showroom and counter area
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, designers, builders, and homeowners to encourage repeat and referral business
Sales Support
Actively market the showroom, products, and services through relationship‑building and outbound engagement
Prepare and follow up on sales quotes to support order completion
Suggest complementary or promotional items when appropriate
Share customer feedback and product trends with internal teams
Promote clearance or surplus inventory as directed
Communicate product availability or demand trends to purchasing or management
Follow all company pricing, credit, and sales policies
General Duties
Stay current on product knowledge through training and vendor resources
Assist with receiving, shipping, or other operational tasks as needed
Ensure all paperwork, order entries, and documentation are completed accurately and on time
Support a team‑first showroom environment that prioritizes customer experience, collaboration, and accountability

Requirements
Required
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency
Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales‑related role (2 years preferred) with demonstrated ability to proactively initiate sales, build customer relationships, and support revenue growth
Preferred
Experience in plumbing, irrigation, lighting, appliances, or a related industry
Minimum 2 years in a similar showroom or customer‑facing sales role
Wholesale distribution experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to manage time and multitask in a busy environment
Experience selling home goods or design‑focused products preferred
Product and application knowledge preferred
