Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician ready to take your expertise to the next level? We’re hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair a fleet of tractor-trailers. Pay Rate:
$18.00 + per hour (Based on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various trailer equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and accurately.
Work in, on, and under trailers to execute maintenance tasks.
Complete high-quality services including:
Steel and aluminium welding
Frame work, brake jobs, alignments
Door repairs, DOT inspections, and more
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to OSHA, DOT, EPA, and safety regulations.
Accurately complete safety inspection documentation.
Ensure the proper use of tools and company-provided equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability toармstand and walk for extended periods, indoors and outdoors.
Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally over 75 lbs.
Perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
A complete set of hand tools for trailer repair (larger tools provided).
Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tracking.
Knowledge of trailer systems and repairs.
Prior construction and welding experience (Oxy/Acetylene, ARC, MIG) is a plus.
Current or prior ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
