Post Doctoral Resident

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is announcing a one-year post‑doc residency program. The residency is composed of four areas:
1) participation in all aspects of services such as individual/group/family therapy;
2) weekly formal supervision by clinical staff (two hours of supervision by licensed psychologists);
3) attendance at scheduled staff meetings as well as access to informal consultation with clinical staff and
4) participation in a weekly seminar taught by clinical staff on a variety of topics (e.g., substance abuse and treatment, trauma and treatment models, cultural competency, etc.).
Postdoctoral Residents Will Participate In The Following Activities
Provide direct services to Kaiser Permanente members through individual and group therapy
Conduct assessments, including intakes for Kaiser Permanente members
Provide crisis intervention to Kaiser Permanente members
Attend staff meetings, including Case Consultation meetings as scheduled
Complete all documentation according to the policies of the organization
Attend weekly supervision
Ideal candidates must have
Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology, completion of an accredited APA or CPA pre‑doctoral internship, and completion of all doctoral degree requirements from an APA or CPA accredited program.
Preferred Work Experience and Qualifications
Experience working with a wide range of clinical issues within a broadly diverse client population
Experience working in a medical setting
