Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellow will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a variety clinical setting as a part of a collaborative care team under the supervision of experienced providers. The Fellow will assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions while gaining knowledge, advanced clinical skills, and autonomy in a structured, multidisciplinary training environment. This fellowship supports the transition into pediatric practice through hands‑on experience, didactic learning, simulation, and professional development.

Applicants are required to submit two letters of recommendation in addition to a CV.

Education

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses – Master’s Degree in Nursing as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.

Physician Assistants – Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses:

Current Texas professional registered nurse license

Current Texas professional advanced practice registered nurse license

Certified as a Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner required

Current Basic Life Support (CPR) required

Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required

Physician Assistants:

Current Texas professional physician assistant license

Certified as a PA-C

Current Basic Life Support (CPR) required

Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
