Summary
Premier Aquatics is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for a Seasonal Regional Aquatics Manager in the Inland Empire! We are seeking a self-motivated individual with leadership qualities and 2 to 3 years of management experience. As a Seasonal Regional Aquatics Manager, you will organize, develop, and facilitate lifeguard management services in Premier’s Inland Empire locations. In this role, you will ensure that pool monitors, lifeguards, and lifeguard managers can effectively prevent drowning and other injuries, enforce facility rules, and respond to aquatic emergencies.
Essential Duties
Oversight of daily operations at multiple locations including scheduling and staffing coverage
Main point of contact/escalation for all contracts and lifeguard managers
Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of the team's consistency through our In-service and Audit Program
Perform quality assurance audits with the guidance of the quality assurance team
Manage the seasonal facility set up and tear down, inventory, re-stocking/re-ordering, etc.
Accurately track and maintain payroll for staff and monthly expense reports
Manage employee point system and manage incentives for staff
Facilitate monthly lifeguard manager meetings and collaborate weekly with the lifeguard department
Assist with hiring and onboarding new staff members
Assist with training in lifeguarding courses
Scheduling and attending special events
Embrace a dynamic workday and be willing to step into a variety of positions
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum
High school diploma or equivalent required
2-3 years of equivalent management experience
Experience performing administrative work duties
Ability to maintain accurate records
Ability to prepare clear, concise oral and written reports
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week and have one day of weekend availability
Can work the hours required for the position, which includes late evenings, weekends, and holidays
Driver’s License/reliable transportation
Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours
Ability to obtain and maintain a StarGuard Elite Instructor Certification and teach a minimum of 4 courses a season
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with performing professional-level aquatics work
Can exercise independent judgment and decision-making to adapt and modify methods and standards to meet variations in position objectives
