CLAW Logistics is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The role will also involve facility and ground maintenance at the terminal. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trailer maintenance and repair.
Schedule -1st Shift
Pay -$28.00/hr
Duties include, but not limited to: Trailer Mechanic
Conduct regular service, repairs, and inspections of trailers as designated by maintenance schedules, FMCSA Regulations and Lead Mechanic. Equipment repairs may be performed in the field (jobsite) or in a shop or yard
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as welding equipment, and jacks
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Maintain a record of supplies on hand and used to maintain corporate fleet
Facility/Grounds Maintenance
Light plumbing & electrical
Groundskeeping. mowing/trimming
Maintaining fenceline – keeping foliage neat & clean.
Minor dock repairs & general maintenance.
Qualifications
Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and service technician procedures.
Skilled in welding, soldering, fabrication techniques, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of tire service procedures and alignment processes.
Physical ability to lift heavy components and perform manual labor involving heavy lifting regularly.
Experience in maintaining a facility (inside and outside)
