This position is for 2nd Shift
4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
Delta Research an Aerospace company is an AS9100 and ISO9001 registered facility which manufactures Gear Products, Prototype/ Production, and Transmission Builds. In addition, we provide contract gear and CMM inspection services. We are also a NADCAP approved non‑destructive testing facility and currently provide Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch.
Tasks
CMM Inspection - Support the Quality and Manufacturing departments with 1st Piece Inspection, In-Process Inspection and Final Inspection of finished parts.
Use of manual handheld inspection tools such as micrometers, gages and other inspection equipment while CMM is running longer cycles times.
Program next job(s) in line while CMM is checking parts.
Perform layout inspections, first piece approvals, in-process inspections, and other aspects of inspection through‑out the manufacturing process.
Other quality related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Understanding of GD&T
Prior CMM Operator Experience
CMM Operator and / or Programming experience using Open DMIS.
Experience in a job shop or a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Inspection tools and best practices.
Positive, can do, attitude with great attendance.
