Job Details

Position Type: Full‑Time, Hourly (Non‑Exempt)

Pay Rate: $19.50/hour

Location: Mundelein, Illinois (Onsite)

Shift Hours: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM (First Shift, Monday–Friday)

Responsibilities

Run screw machines and related equipment safely, efficiently, and consistently.

Inspect parts as they’re made to ensure they meet quality and size standards.

Make basic adjustments and troubleshoot issues to keep machines running.

Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check part accuracy.

Follow blueprints and work instructions (training provided).

Assist with setting up machines when needed.

Complete simple paperwork to track production and quality.

Keep your work area clean and organized.

Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.

Pitch in with other tasks to help your team meet goals.

Skills & Competencies

Comfortable working with machines and tools.

Ability to read instructions and follow directions.

Good with numbers and measurements.

Focused on doing the job right the first time.

Familiar with precision tools (or willing to learn).

Attention to detail and pride in your work.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: No prior machine operation experience required – we’ll train you.

Willingness to follow directions and ask questions when unsure.

Must pass a blueprint reading test and a mechanical aptitude test.

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Required to stand for extended periods.

Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.

Frequent bending and stooping required.

Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.

Must be able to work in noisy environments.

Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, CNC tooling, CNC machine repair, CNC machine installation, and machine setups for production runs.
