Operations Manager
W3Global is seeking an Operations Manager in Plymouth, WI. This role focuses on preventing and fixing operational problems in the lawncare, landscape, and snow removal services industry.
Position Overview The Operations Manager is not a General Manager; it works collaboratively with the Owner, General Manager, Office Manager, Controller, and Sales & Project Managers.
Core Objectives
Ensure proper staffing, training, and equipment for all field departments.
Maintain high‑quality service execution across all crews.
Keep field operations safe, compliant, and efficient.
Drive productivity, accountability, and operational discipline.
Resolve client issues promptly and professionally.
Protect company reputation through execution excellence.
Primary Areas of Responsibility
Field Operations Oversight: day‑to‑day execution of lawn‑care applications, mowing, landscape maintenance, construction, tree service, and winter services.
Staffing, Hiring, and Workforce Management: determine staffing needs,Recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, discipline, and terminations.
Onboarding, Training, and Skill Development: develop onboarding schedules, manage training programs, ensure certifications, and cross‑train staff.
Productivity, Efficiency, and Performance Management: monitor crew metrics, eliminate inefficiencies, enforce time‑tracking, improve processes.
Quality Control & Service Standards: set quality standards, conduct inspections, address complaints, enforce consistency.
Client Issue Support & Resolution: provide escalation support, investigate complaints, communicate with clients, coordinate corrective work.
Safety, Compliance, and Risk Management: enforce safety policies, track PPE usage, handle incidents, ensure regulatory compliance.
Equipment, Fleet, and Asset Coordination: assign equipment, oversee inspections, manage maintenance and repairs.
Leadership & Cross‑Department Collaboration: supervise in‑field leaders, set expectations, communicate operational needs to Office and Controller, coordinate with Sales & Project Managers.
Decision Authority
In‑field staffing levels and deployment.
In‑field discipline and termination decisions.
Operational execution standards.
Training process and enforcement.
Safety enforcement in the field.
