The Role A successful Restaurant General Manager will have 5+ years of experience managing high-volume restaurants (200‑300 covers) in an upscale, food‑focused environment. You are passionate about food and look forward to engaging the local community to procure the highest quality products to create unforgettable experiences for both team members and guests. As an ambassador for Indigo Road, you’ll create memorable experiences through food and promote staff development in a positive culture.
Responsibilities
Lead with Passion: Bring your unwavering passion for restaurant, F&B and hospitality to the forefront. Participate in volunteer and charity initiatives that benefit the community.
Nurture Your Team: Foster staff development and create an environment that motivates the team while meeting P&L goals.
Enrich Your Community: Engage with local vendors, businesses and farms to source quality products, educate junior members and advocate for their growth.
Be the Solution: Oversee all facets of the restaurant, resolving challenges by maintaining effective communication with staff and the community.
Requirements
5+ years successfully running a high‑volume, upscale, food‑focused restaurant.
Proven experience delivering top‑notch dining experiences.
Compassion for people and alignment with Indigo Road core values.
Strong problem‑resolution skills and proactive team leadership.
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to navigate important conversations.
