Responsibilities
Recommend, select and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
Familiarize with store inventory to provide customers with best product knowledge.
Consistently greet customers and educate them on current promotions.
Foster repeat business by building relationships and promoting Saks credit card.
Execute sales transactions accurately using the POS register system and adhere to checkout standards.
Resolve issues aligning with core values of trust, integrity, and respect.
Achieve individual and store goals for sales, customer acquisition, and loyalty program participation.
Maintain the selling floor and fitting rooms, including resizing fixtures, re‑stocking, markdowns, and signage.
Properly display merchandise in compliance with brand standards.
Adhere to Asset Protection controls and containment procedures.
Support shortage and theft awareness program through reporting.
Complete tasks or special projects assigned by store leadership.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a retail, customer service or sales environment.
Proven sales track record; results‑driven mindset.
Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed.
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.
Thorough knowledge of the fashion industry and passion for sharing expertise.
Adapts quickly to routine situations and plans and achieves positive results.
Operates equipment such as radios, POS register, ticket scanners, and sensor removers.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
