Establish physical inventory controls, including organization, labeling, and secure storage.
Track parts usage, turnover, and reorder points.
Collaborate with Finance to support budgeting and forecasting, provide costing data, and assist with cost‑control initiatives.
Support internal mechanics, welders, and maintenance personnel by ensuring all parts and inventory are available when needed.
Coordinate and oversee external vendors, contractors, and OEM service providers; evaluate vendor performance.
Collaborate in scheduling major repairs, rebuilds, and planned shutdowns.
Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements related to equipment maintenance; ensure safe procedures and required PPE are used.
Support compliance with company safety programs (LOTO, equipment guarding, contractor safety) in coordination with the Safety/Compliance team.
