Distribution Quality Control Specialist This position requires an active

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and evaluation of quality programs, ensuring all processes align with established standards and requirements.

Identify and resolve quality issues, providing technical advisory services related to system evaluations, data analysis, and the development of quality control procedures.

Conduct quality control surveillances to assess processes, procedures, and adherence to contract specifications, including audit readiness internal controls as part of QC inspection criteria.

Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other Government Data Systems to monitor and manage quality performance.

Ensure continuous improvement by analyzing performance data and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Provide guidance on quality control best practices and compliance with regulatory and contract requirements.

Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a related field).

Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, logistics, or distribution management, with a focus on process evaluation and compliance.

Experience in conducting audits, quality assessments, and ensuring adherence to contract requirements and industry standards.

Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, processes, and standards.

Proficiencyares in WMS and other data management systems commonly used in logistics and distribution environments.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure compliance with contract requirements and regulatory standards.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross‑functional teams and providing advisory services.

Ability to interpret and apply industry standards and quality procedures in a fast‑paced environment.

Knowledge of audit practices and readiness for internal control assessments.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.

Must pass pre‑employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Compensation & Benefits Estimated starting salary range for Distribution Quality Control Specialist:

Pay commensurate with experience.
