The Company is seeking a Head of US Medical Population Science and Health to lead a team dedicated to advancing population science and health outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and implementing sustainable strategies that align with the company's 2030 vision, ensuring integration into the medical organization, and leading efforts to embed population science and health across the enterprise. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of population health, real-world data, and upstream interventions, and a proven track record in operational and financial accountability, including budget management and the delivery of Phase IIIb/IV studies. The Head of US Medical Population Science and Health will also be the primary contact for C-suite healthcare professionals, representing the company in various external forums, and will be expected to drive initiatives that educate and impact underserved communities.
Candidates for this position should have an advanced degree in a relevant field, with a preference for those holding an MPH or similar training. A minimum of 15 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 5 years in medical affairs or clinical development leadership, is required. The role demands a leader with significant experience in compliance, integrity, and a strong focus on the evolving global and US regulatory, medical practice, and economic environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to influence strategically, lead organizational change, and collaborate effectively across the enterprise. Experience in supervising and developing high-performing teams, as well as a sophisticated understanding of the legal and regulatory considerations in the industry, is essential.
