Litigation/Workers Compensation Paralegal A dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm in the worker’s compensation area of Law is seeking a paralegal to add to their team . This is a direct hire position with a salary range of $65,000 – 75,000 based on experience with excellent benefits and bi-annual bonus once permanent. Located in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte NC The candidate will be responsible for handling claims from inception through resolution. The position entails extensive contact with clients, attorneys, insurance adjustors, and medical providers. Duties & responsibilities include: Opening new files; gather and analyze intake information and relevant documents; fully investigate each case; maintain contact with clients on regular basis; prepare documents and correspondence; collect documentation of all damages sustained such as medical records, bills and loss of income; read and interpret medical records and reports; organize and maintain case files. 4+ years of knowledge in personal injury/workers compensation preferred. Litigation experience required Must: be able to jump into an existing caseload and move cases forward; Have strong work ethic and be able to work well in a fast pace environment; Have great people skills as the position requires a great deal of client contact; Be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; have exceptional communication and written skills; Have computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and legal software.
