About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Special Assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing portfolio companies within the Watchlist and Special Assets portfolio to identify key value drivers and recovery options. This role involves supporting various financial activities such as restructurings, recapitalizations, financings, and other capital solutions. The Vice President will also play a key role in assisting with turnarounds by enhancing business plans, operational performance, and governance, as well as conducting due diligence and re-underwriting new capital commitments.
In addition to the above, the Vice President will be involved in evaluating opportunistic investments in complementary businesses, supporting management and board recruitment, and developing incentive plans. The role also includes overseeing investment exits through various means and coordinating with external advisors on active transactions. The ideal candidate will be adept at preparing investment memoranda, reports, and analyses for senior leadership and committee meetings. A strong background in finance, investment management, and a proven track record in the special assets space is essential for this position.
