About the Role

The Company is in search of a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) to oversee the day-to-day operations of its premier private country club. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the club's operations, with a focus on maintaining and developing world-class amenities, fostering member relationships, and striving for excellence in hospitality and member experience. This role requires a professional with a minimum of 5-7 years' progressive leadership experience in a contemporary business model club or similar high-service standard hospitality operation. The GM/COO will be expected to have a strong background in financial management, be a visionary leader, and possess the ability to build and lead a team with a mentorship style.

Key responsibilities for the GM/COO include financial management, food and beverage operations, employee relations, and communication. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team growth and development, diverse recreational amenity management, and quality food and beverage programming. They should be a servant leader, committed to supporting and developing staff, and maintaining a highly visible management style. The role also involves ensuring member satisfaction is the top priority, being actively engaged with the membership, and enhancing communication platforms. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management is highly desirable, and industry certifications are preferred. The GM/COO will be a charismatic individual, a confident and competent professional, and a creative problem solver who commands respect through integrity and professional interactions.
