Key responsibilities for the Assistant Vice President include building and engaging a network of alumni and friends, supporting students through alumni relations, and overseeing the management of an annual giving program. The role also involves managing the University Events team and integrating the Center for Career Readiness into the division of University Advancement. The ideal candidate will be a creative, inspiring, and energetic leader who can advance the company's mission and enhance its alumni and community relationships. Collaboration with the university community is a central aspect of the position, as is the facilitation of student-alumni career connections and the provision of alumni career services. The AVP will be a senior member of the University Advancement leadership team, reporting to the Vice President for University Advancement, and will play a key role in the company's commitment to supporting its students and providing them with a high-quality education in a thriving community.
