About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of enhancing the quality of early childhood education. The successful candidate will be a strategic, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven leader, responsible for defining and executing a clear, forward-looking strategic vision that positions the organization as a national leader in early childhood systems change. This role involves leading national expansion, strengthening financial sustainability, and advancing equitable access to high-quality early childhood education for children under five. The Executive Director will also oversee product strategy and technology development, apply strong business acumen to expand the organization's reach and influence, and build strategic partnerships to support growth and mission impact.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have an MBA or equivalent advanced degree, or comparable executive-level experience, and a deep commitment to mission-driven work. Experience in both nonprofit and for-profit environments is preferred, with a strong understanding of the challenges facing early childhood education providers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in scaling organizations, advanced business acumen, and the ability to lead product strategy and development, particularly in technology-enabled or software-driven settings. Visionary leadership, the ability to inspire high-performing teams, and a passion for improving outcomes for children, families, and communities are essential.
