The successful candidate will deliver direct instruction aligned with students’ *Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)*, including instruction in:

* Executive functioning skills * Social-emotional development and social skills * Early academic skill development * Use and support of Augmentative and Alternative Communication device to promote communication and access to learning

*Key Responsibilities*

* Provide individualized and small-group instruction in inclusive preschool settings * Pre-teach and re teach readiness skills * Consult and co teach with preschool teacher * Implement IEP goals using evidence-based practices and developmentally appropriate strategies * Support and model effective use of AAC device in collaboration with therapists and families * Use ongoing assessment and data collection to monitor student progress, refine interventions, and provide meaningful feedback * Create and distribute quarterly progress reports * Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled * Collaborate closely with families, therapists, educators, and community partners * Utilize individualized reinforcement strategies to support each child in reaching their highest potential

*Qualifications*

*Required:*

* Maine Department of Education Certification 282B * DOE fingerprinting clearance * Knowledge of Maine Early Learning Standards * Strong xuwmhxw communication, collaboration, and organizational skills * Experience developing and implementing IEPs * Knowledge and skills in early childhood special education (ages 3–5)

*Preferred:*

* Experience providing both individual and group services in a preschool setting * Familiarity with AAC devices and communication supports * Experience working collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary early childhood team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $37.85 - $47.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Education: * Bachelor's (Required)

License/Certification: * 282B Certification (Required)
