This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary students in a K-12 school setting located in Hixson, TN. The position is a contract role lasting the current school year, beginning January 19, 2026, through May 21, 2026. The assignment offers full-time hours, approximately 35 to 37.5 hours per week, with placements across one to three campuses depending on caseload needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech therapy services to elementary-aged students. Conduct evaluations and participate in meetings related to student progress. Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to develop individualized education plans. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Active Tennessee SLPA license and School Services Personnel License with SLPA endorsement. Current Tennessee Department of Education certification. Experience working in school settings preferred; familiarity with elementary-aged populations is essential. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage caseloads across multiple campuses efficiently.
